  I would give no stars if I could. Owners sister was a disgrace...
  My 4 year old was banging his foot on his chair (otherwise he was being well behaved). The owners sister was sitting in the bar and she shouted across the restaurant room at him to be quiet. She then followed me in to the toilet where she flew into a rage and torrent of abuse including a great deal of bad language in front of my 2 year old son. when I returned to the table she then again shouted across the restaurant in front of everyone a sarcastic remark to my party.
  
  When we complained to the owner she was very defensive of her sister and in denial about what had happened even though most of the restaurant heard her.
  
  She gave what was clearly an disingenuous apology and knocked £10 off a £165 bill.
  
  This pub is advertised as a child friendly pub. Yet we couldn't have been made less welcome.
  
  Also the play area was littered with dog poo. Hardly child friendly.
